A big ‘thank you’ to Heather Fagan for submitting this to the website. Heather was at the recently held Convent Reunion Mass. This picture is copied from ‘Memories, A Pictorial Celebration for Dublin’s Millennium’. Compiled and Edited by John Coughlan. Published by Jefferson Smurfit Group plc. It was taken in the playground on Fassaugh Road (or is it Avenue?) in about 1952. That’s Mister Thunder from Dingle Road in the background, he was the Caretaker at that time. If you know the names of any of the girls in the picture please let me know.
