A big thank you to Margaret (Peggy) Murray nee Ryan, originally from 35 Annally Road in Cabra, for this great photo of a group of girls from the Cabra Tech in the 1950s. Peggy is the girl in the centre of the photograph (with the line going through her) and on her left is Phyllis Storey (?) from Annamoe, Dolores McCauley from Annally Road, Anne Coughlan from Quarry Road and Liam Whelan’s sister (can’t remember her name). Also in the photo are Elizabeth Fitzgerald from Annally Road and Audrey O’Hare who lived facing the gates of Christ the King Church. If anyone out there recognises any other faces in the gang would you please let me know as Peggy would love to be reminded of them.
