<description>Fred Rea, Sean Roche, Marie Forde and Christina Henri, did Australia and Ireland proud with their show, Spirit of the convict women.
If you can ever get to see Marie Forde perform, do yourself a favour, this lady has a voice so strong and pure, you are scared to take a breath while she is singing for fear you may make a sound., she will be coming back to Ireland next year to tour.
How these performers were not given a spot on the late late show is beyond me.
Also Sean will be doing a few gigs around Ireland, i would love to see Sean and Marie team up for a tour.
Christina said on the night, everywhere she did the bonnet show it rained, it rained here on the saturday and has belted down since, Christina said she was surprised she was not engaged by the OZ government to tour the drought areas in Australia.
I&#039;m going to write to Julia Gilliard when she becomes prime minister and let her know about Christina and her rain show, ha ha ha.
Christina is bringing to the world the story of the young women who were transported to Australia, first to Van Demons Land then New South Wales, 26, 600 girls, Christina is incouraging people to make a white bonnet, when she has the number required they will be placed in a special place in Tasmania, each bonnet will bear the first name of a convict woman, if you look up Christine Henri on the net or The Irish Scene Perth WA, you will get more information, it would be nice if we had a white bonnet made by someone from West Cabra in that musume in Tasmania..
You can get full information on Marie Firde, Sean Roche or Fred Rea, on the net.
So ladies get your needles and tread out, you will have to get the patern from Christina.
I have the bug now to do another show, we took to the stage to give our rendition of We Are Australians, when the audience joined in, it was brilliant, Australia had come to Rosslare Harbour for a few hours and the audience loved it, better still the cast loved it, i had lights on the stage only, i had the function room laid out like a night club, candles on every table and around the sides, gave the place a great atmosphere, i can still hear the words of the song in my head, I am, you are, we are Australians, on the night everyone was.

		<description>Hello all,
Hello J R how is it going hope your Aussie weekend went well down there. Did Michael and Tony G get to it. Oh hope you are better Tony G. Liam hope your hols are going well too.Shay Eugene and MC hope you are all well too. Eugene you are right you wished us all good health and at this time time that is a bonus for us all to have our health. I dont mind the ups and downs of getting on but I am glad to be active even tho&#039; I am slower than I use to be. Funny that you said I was probably busy with fam I laughed cause today we have 2 family events so yep Im busy with the children. This week its my sons family. We seem to have birthdays and assorted things every season.ITs back to school here too and it is nice to have down time for the hubby and I too. We have been empty nesters for yrs but still seem to always have company. I love a full house and I also love to rest after everyone is gone too ha ha. Nice to read all your updates everyone.Tony Dunne is it yourself thats in NZ hope you are safe. We have fam in Aukland. We think of everyone.
Had a blast from the past yesterday. The hubby happened to be out and about and bought a tin of polish for his shoes. For yrs he had been using the newer kinds of quick fix sponge kinds. When I opened the tin of polish the smell of it reminded me of all the times Id shined shoes as a child. Heels and toes gleaming so well I could see myself inthem so I offered to polish his shoes haha.I guess I was lucky to have shoes tho&#039; we use to have those brown sandals with the corrigated white soles sometimes we had those white canvas kind of PE shoes tho we called them our runners. the ma use to have us whiten them for sunday. even tho they were thread bare and we got as much milage outa them they were still cleaned up and whitened for sunday. Hand me downs went miles too ya always got the hand me downs if there was any thing left to hand down.Nike and new balance have no idea how lucky they are nowadays Eh ? Well here I go again finding memories in a tin of polish
Could be worse I could have no memory at all.
God Bless all the Good souls on this site and anyone who was lucky enough to have Soles on thier shoes if they had shoes at all in our day.May God also bless all the souls of all who have departed It seems we have all lost good freinds over the past while and family too.Hello to all on the site
Cheerio for now
Take care all.
