Doctor Kirwan from Skreen Road who attended a lot of people from Cabra West and the surrounding area has sadly passed away. She played a major role in the lives of my own family as we grew up over the years. Doctor Kirwan sent me into hospital to have my appendix removed in the mid 1960´s and also administered many Liver injections into me for a spell. She eventually retired and handed over her practise to her son (?). Condolences and deepest sympathy to the Kirwan family from the Cabra History.Com website.

I believe they discovered this old building underneath a pile of old rubble while digging up the fields by the railway behind the houses on Carnlough Road.
