Patty & Willie Lynch, sister and brother.

Thank you so much to Marybeth Lynch for allowing me to share this beautiful photograph of our pal Willie Lynch and his sister Patty recently taken on the occasion of a family wedding here in Dublin. As most of us know Willie and Patty grew up on Drumcliff Road in Cabra West. Willie carved out a very successful musical career for himself and is still playing to delighted audiences when and wherever he can. This photograph is originally in full colour but as Dickie Rock sings,  ‘just for old times sake’ I thought it might give a certain sense of nostalgia in black and white. This is a moment in time that says it all without a word being spoken…
