Dublin 103.2 FM interview for 'A Time To Remember'

I was recently approached by Gerard Counihan from Dublin 103.2 fm radio station and asked to do a radio interview about my recent book ‘A Time To Remember…Cabra and it’s People’. When I met Ger we instantly hit it off because he too hails from Cabra, Dowth Avenue to be exact. Ger’s mother still lives in the family home and had heard about my book. She phoned Ger and said ‘get him on your radio talking about Cabra’. Well what can I say…when the Ma’ tells you to do something…Anyway, of course I agreed to do the interview, any chance to talk about Cabra West/Cabra and its people. We did no rehearsing for the programme. Ger had some set questions to ask and some that came from the course of our conversation. It was a great experience and a very relaxed interview. Ger kindly arranged for me to link the interview onto the Cabra History.Com wesbsite so that people worldwide could listen to it. So many thanks to Mrs Counihan of Quarry Road in Cabra for taking an interest in its history and its people and of course thanks to Ger and Dublin 103.2 FM radio for the opportunity to share our great heritage.
