This is my latest book, ‘Old Dublin Photos‘. The young boy on the front cover is my uncle who began taking photographs when he was a young boy. This is his photo collection combined with stories by various people about Dublin. He lived in the Monto part of Dublin and many of his photos were taken there at a time when Dublin corporation began demolishing the area. It covers a period of Dublin from the early 1930’s to the 1980’s. A lot of families who settled in Cabra West came from the north inner city area of Dublin and this may have an appeal to them. There are 270 pages with over 300 photographs to be enjoyed. I’m still in the process of refining it with the publisher and hopefully will have it ready for sale by the end of July…
