There was never a sight quite so like it as to see a clothes line full of newly washed clothes and they dancing in the breeze and laughing in the sunshine. There’s the Da’s oul shed keeping an eye on everything, making sure they all behave themselves. And would you ever have a look at the oul door out of the house, that was the door that lead from the kitchen into our hallway. There’s two nice little pony horse shoes on it for decoration. And there’s the Belfast Sink that the Ma’ used to wash us all in of a Saturday night.The Da’ better lock that ladder away or else…Mr Quinn’s shed next door has a curtain on the window.
